 Click on the picture for a 67Kb JPG photo from Mammoth Cave (??) of what is called locally a "karri forest" formation. This is because the flowstone somewhat resembles the tops of the local, and unique, karri trees.

 Click on the picture for a 45Kb JPG photo from Lake Cave of what is called locally the "Suspended Table". This unusual formation
was formed when two columns formed a flowstone at their base which joined. This flowstone formed on a bed of sand
that has been washed away by the "lake" (slow moving stream) in the cave. This leaves the "table" suspended above
the "lake" below.
