Cape Range

Heres a link to a document outlining the threats to this wonderful karst area. If this karst is to survive into the future it requires very careful management and protection. Here's the view from within the IUCN about the Cape Range karst.

CaveClick on the picture for a JPG photo of Darren Brooks about to abseil the 17m entrance pitch is Bell Cave. Note the railway line used as a belay. This pitch was the site of Western Australia's first, and only, caving death when a young man fell from a rope he was climbing hand over hand.
